Lightweight ripstop keeps out wind and moisture, while the down filling provides warmth without bulk. This is precisely what makes it so versatile: as a warming mid-layer under a hardshell, as a stand-alone jacket on milder days, for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, or touring. If the weather clears up, the jacket packs into its own pocket and goes into your backpack. Water-repellent YKK® AquaGuard® NATULON® zippers on the front and pockets keep moisture out, and jersey wrist gaiters seal the sleeves.
