GORE-TEX® Pro 3L Shell Pant

The Y-1 HD Three-Layer GORE-TEX Pro Shell Pants from The Mountain Studio are designed for demanding alpine terrain and use the same material as our Z-1 and Z-2 jackets. We deliberately chose this durable, robust 80 Denier GORE-TEX material because it can withstand extreme conditions in skiing, snowboarding, and ski touring. Gore technology makes these ski pants permanently waterproof, absolutely windproof, and extremely breathable.

The Y-1 HD is a shell pant designed for layering. You can combine them, for example, with our U-1 Seamless Baselayer and/or wear them over our P-1 Primaloft® Insulation Pants. The two large side ventilation zippers allow you to easily regulate airflow and thus warmth. In addition, the pants have an innovative 3D-adjustable waistband construction with a thin, flexible Dupont Sorona® padding as a thermal barrier for additional warmth and comfort in the lower back.
